What happens if I cancel or reschedule in less than 24 hours of the service appointment time range?You can cancel anytime prior to your scheduled appointment without penalty. We would rather reschedule your appointment then have you upset because you were charged for a service you did not receive.

What time will the cleaners arrive?If you book a start time of between 8:00 - 9:00 am the cleaners will arrive anytime between those hours. Please feel free to reach out to us directly should you encounter any problems with this - tidyfox@hotmail.com

What's included in a Regular Clean?Our Regular Cleaning Checklist is composed of 50-points and its designed to be as thorough as it gets! Every corner, nook, and cranny is checked to make sure that your home receives a thorough and effective cleaning by your Tidy Fox Cleaning Team. Have a look at our CHECKLIST tab to see all that is included in our Regular Cleans. There is so much included that it is impossible to add it to FAQ because it requires a whole webpage on it's own. All extras are not included (must be selected at an additional cost)

Why are Bedrooms not included in Regular Clean?It's been our experience that some people only want the main area of the house cleaned and that includes but not limited to the Kitchen, Dining room, Living room, Laundry room and main floor Bathroom. So to accommodate everyone's needs we felt it was not right to charge everyone for minimum one bedroom for those who would like to keep their bedroom private and also for those who live in a studio apartment. Our prices reflect this and the option is available to anyone who wants to have their bedrooms cleaned.

What's included in a Move In/Out Clean?When booking a Move in or Move out clean, you can expect an all inclusive service. This is our most detailed package and it includes all our extras which can also be added to our Regular Clean package individually. These extras include: Inside fridge Inside oven Inside dishwasher Inside laundry machines Interior window (cost per window added) Wet wipe blinds (cost per blinds added) Walls (spot clean) Vacuum wall and ceiling vents Inside closets Inside cabinets This clean is intended to turn a once lived in home into it's original state and ready for a new homeowner to move into.

Which Service do you Recommend for a First Time Client?We recommend that you choose a Regular clean for your first time clean. With all the information you provide through out the booking process we can ensure that we get all areas cleaned. We can also do Hourly cleans. This is more for someone who knows what they want cleaned and would like to setup their own checklist of areas they would like the cleaners to concentrate on. The cleaners will get as much of the list done as possible in the time allocated and will follow the prioritized list provided.

What are your Hourly Rates?We are confident in getting the job done from start to finish for the prices quoted. This is why we ask a few questions on our booking page. In our experience, we have come to realize that a job done properly from start to finish is more important then rushing to try to stay within the time frame as other companies quote. If you would rather just pay a flat rate for a set time of cleaning we also have an hourly option where you choose what you would like your Home Cleaning Specialist to clean and they will get as much of the list done in the cleaning time requested. The hourly rate is $65/hour per cleaner and if combined with a regularly scheduled clean the appropriate discount will be applied (Ex. bi-weekly discount is 25% which would drop the rate to $48.75/hour per cleaner) Why the price is per cleaner? It's because we typically send in a team of 2 cleaners so the cleaning price would reflect 2 cleaners cleaning. This means that with 2 cleaners doing an hourly bi-weekly cleaning the rate for both cleaners working would be $97.50 per hour.

Do you have a minimum booking time?Short answer is yes. With hourly cleaning the minimum cleaning time is 2 cleaners for 1 hour which works out to 2 hours of cleaning time. For Regular package cleans there is no minimum as the booking process doesn't go by time but rather depends on the job being done.

What Areas do you Serve?We are currently taking clients in the Fraser Valley east area (Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission and Aldergrove) As we grow, we are looking at expanding into the rest of the Fraser Valley from Chilliwack in the east up to Delta in the West, and eventually moving into the Greater Vancouver area.

Do you send the Same Home Cleaning Specialist?Short answer is Yes. We like to try and match Home Cleaning Specialist to their own Clients. We do this for a few reasons: You become comfortable with your Home Cleaning Specialist. The Home Cleaning Specialist learns about what you are looking for in a clean and can make sure that you receive exactly what you expect from a regularly scheduled visit (Weekly, Bi-Weekly). Our goal is to fill our Home Cleaning Specialist with a list of regular clients which provides our cleaner with a regular schedule and comfort in knowing what to expect with their schedule. Unfortunately when you need to rebook for a different time slot that is not a regular slot you usually get we can't guarantee that the same cleaners will be assigned as they probably have other regular clients on their schedule at that time. For Monthly clients it is more difficult to get the same cleaners in your home as we run our full time cleaners on a bi-weekly rotation with clients. To try an get a spot on a regular rotation with some of out full time cleaners it would be best to contact the office for you booking and we can place your appointment on one of the teams schedule to ensure you have a consistent team come to your home. Do you bring your Own Cleaning Supplies?Yes! We bring our own cleaning supplies however if you have special cleaning supplies that you would like us to use please let us know in the booking comments or you can let your Home Cleaning Specialist know when they show up to provide the service.

Do you use Environmentally Safe Products?We use Biom Probiotic cleaning products by Choice Probiotics imported from Belgium. Probiotics provide a healthy and effective alternative to harsh chemical cleaning products. Probiotic products give the power of millions of good bacteria which are stabilized, living, good bacteria. These tiny super heroes go to work on surfaces as soon as they are applied, and continue working for 5 days. It's safer for the environment, our children, our pets and ourselves.

What if Someone Can't be Home?If you are comfortable with making arrangements with the office we can schedule a key pickup and return for the Home Cleaning Specialist to use on the day of the cleaning. We will keep the key in a secured lock box at the office if you would like to have us clean your home on a regularly scheduled clean when you are not home. Many busy families use this option because it allows them to continue with their day, or come and go without worry that their house needs to be locked when the Home Cleaning Specialist leaves. It will put a smile on your face and relieve a days worth of stressors when you walk into your freshly cleaned home at the end of a busy day.
